Oil Storage & Packaging Line Solution

Oil Storage & Packaging Line — The Final Touch

Stainless steel storage tanks, transfer pumps and filling systems that buffer finished edible oil, protect product quality and deliver retail-ready bottles — the last stage before your oil reaches the market.

Why Storage & Packaging Matter

After pressing, filtration or refining, finished oil must be stored safely and packaged efficiently — this stage protects quality, balances production batches and prepares product for distribution

Buffer Finished Oil

Storage tanks hold refined or filtered oil between production shifts and packaging runs — smoothing flow from continuous processing to batch bottling without stopping upstream equipment.

Protect Product Quality

Closed stainless tanks with nitrogen blanketing and level monitoring limit oxidation, moisture ingress and contamination — preserving clarity, flavor and shelf life until bottles are filled.

Enable Retail Packaging

Transfer pumps and filling lines move oil from bulk storage to PET bottles, tins or drums at controlled flow rates — meeting supermarket, food-service and export packaging requirements.

Complete the Production Line

Storage and packaging connect upstream refining or pressing to market delivery — without this stage, even premium oil cannot reach customers in branded, traceable retail formats.

Complete Storage & Packaging System

Five integrated steps from bulk oil storage to labeled retail bottles — designed for workshop mills and industrial refineries alike

Storage Finished oil held in stainless tanks with level monitoring and nitrogen protection
Pumping Transfer pumps move oil from bulk tanks to filling stations at controlled flow rates
Filling Semi-auto or automatic fillers dose oil into bottles, tins or drums by volume or weight
Sealing Cap tightening, induction sealing or tin crimping ensures leak-proof, tamper-evident packages
Labeling Date codes, barcodes and brand labels applied for retail compliance and traceability

Refined oil from the oil refining line or filtered oil from the filtration line enters bulk storage. We size tank farms, pump headers and filling stations to match your daily throughput and packaging format — PET bottles, glass, tins or IBC drums.

Automation & Control

Modern storage and packaging lines rely on PLC supervision to protect inventory, reduce labor and maintain fill accuracy. Our control packages integrate with upstream pressing, filtration and refining systems for unified plant monitoring.

PLC Central Control

Programmable logic controllers coordinate tank valves, pump start/stop sequences and filling machine triggers — with HMI dashboards for operators and optional remote access for supervisors.

Level Monitoring

Ultrasonic or radar level sensors on storage tanks report fill height in real time — preventing overflow, enabling automatic pump cut-off and triggering low-level alerts before packaging runs dry.

Automated Filling

Weight- or volume-based fillers linked to PLC logic deliver consistent bottle fills, reduce giveaway oil and support high-speed lines with minimal manual intervention between batches.

Frequently Asked Questions

Tank capacity depends on daily production, packaging schedule and how many days of buffer you want. A common rule is 2–5 days of finished oil storage. A 10 TPD plant often uses 20–50 m³ total tank volume split between crude, filtered and finished oil. We calculate tank farms based on your throughput and bottling shift pattern.

Yes. Many clients retrofit stainless storage tanks and transfer pumps between existing filters or refineries and manual bottling areas. We supply layout drawings, pipe sizing and installation support to connect new tanks with minimal disruption to current production.

We supply oil storage tanks, transfer pumps, conveyors and PLC systems as standard auxiliary equipment. Filling, sealing and labeling machines can be integrated into turnkey packaging lines — specify your bottle size, speed (bottles per hour) and packaging format when requesting a quotation.

A basic tank-and-pump package for a small 5–10 TPD mill may start from USD 8,000–25,000 depending on tank volume and material grade. A complete storage, pumping and semi-automatic filling line for 20–50 TPD plants typically ranges from USD 40,000–120,000. Industrial tank farms with full PLC automation are quoted individually.

Food-grade stainless steel (304 or 316L) is standard for edible oil contact surfaces — corrosion-resistant, easy to clean and accepted by food safety auditors. Carbon steel tanks with internal coating are available for non-food industrial oils at lower cost. We recommend 316L for refined oil and export-grade facilities.
