Flat-Bottom Thermal-Oil Fired Roaster
A stirred flat-pan roaster heated indirectly by fire-warmed thermal oil — for gentle, even roasting that conditions oilseeds before pressing.
Designed for its job in the edible-oil line, not a generic unit.
Food-contact surfaces in stainless steel where it matters.
Capacity and configuration matched to your material and throughput.
Pairs with our prep/press/filter/refine line; install & spares support.

Function & Working Principle
A broad flat base maximizes contact area for even, gentle roasting.
Heat-transfer oil spreads burner heat smoothly across the pan, avoiding direct-flame hot spots.
A motorized stirring mechanism turns seeds continuously to prevent settling and scorching.
Uses a solid-fuel or oil burner for economical heat generation.
Even heat plus steady stirring produce uniform color and moisture batch to batch.
Brings seeds to the right state to feed directly into pressing.
Working principle
A burner heats the thermal oil circulating beneath and around the flat pan.
Cleaned oilseeds are added into the heated flat-bottom pan.
A gear-driven stirring arm sweeps the pan so seeds roast evenly against the hot base.
Roasted seeds are emptied and sent on to the oil press.

Frequently Asked Questions
What can the Flat-Bottom Thermal-Oil Fired Roaster process?
It is suited to Sesame, Peanut (groundnut), Rapeseed, Soybean and similar materials. Tell us your seed type and target product and our engineers will confirm suitability.
Is the Flat-Bottom Thermal-Oil Fired Roaster suitable for small and medium oil mills?
Yes. It is built for small and medium operations; configuration is matched to your throughput and workshop space.
Why roast oilseeds before pressing?
Roasting conditions the seed — lowering moisture and developing flavor — so more oil releases cleanly during pressing and the finished oil carries its characteristic aroma.
Can the capacity, power and dimensions be customized?
Capacity, motor power and dimensions are matched to your requirement. Contact us with your throughput, material and country for the full parameter sheet.
What after-sales support do you provide?
Installation guidance, operating instructions and spare-parts support are available. Contact our engineers for details on your project.
