140 Type Four-Stage
Screw Oil Press

The plant-scale press: 300–400 kg of seed per hour through a 135 mm four-stage bar-cage chamber, driven by an 18.5 kW motor on a 1,200 kg frame. Built for mills pressing 5–10 tonnes a day, with the same ≤6.5% residual-oil discipline as the smaller frames.

Built for Plant-Scale Pressing

Above roughly five tonnes a day, press downtime costs real money. The 140 type answers with mass and margin: a 1,200 kg frame, hardened four-stage chamber at 135 mm diameter, and an 18.5 kW six-pole motor running well inside its limits at rated throughput — the press loafs where smaller frames strain.

Like all our bar-cage presses it holds dry-cake residual oil at or below 6.5%, presses every common oilseed, and pairs naturally with a 1500-type sheller, 200+ type roaster and pneumatic filtering line. Floor requirement is about 30 m².

Key Features

Top-of-Range Throughput

300–400 kg/h supports 5–10 tonnes per day on double shifts — one press where smaller mills need two.

135 mm Four-Stage Chamber

The largest chamber in the series applies staged compression to high volumes without sacrificing residual-oil performance.

Overbuilt Frame

1.2 tonnes of casting and steel absorb pressing loads for years of continuous duty.

Line-Ready

Sized to match 1500-type shellers, large roasters and multi-tube pneumatic filters in a balanced plant layout.

Same Wear-Part Ecosystem

Screws and cage bars share the service logic of the whole series — your technicians already know it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What daily capacity does the 140 type support?

300–400 kg/h equals 3–4 tonnes per 10-hour shift, or 6–8+ tonnes on double shifts — the standard single-press answer for 5–10 TPD plants.

How much floor space and power does it need?

Plan at least 30 m² of working floor and a three-phase supply for the 18.5 kW main motor plus auxiliary equipment. We provide a layout drawing with the quotation.

Can one operator run it?

Yes — with an elevator feeding the hopper and the control cabinet at hand, one trained operator manages feeding, pressing and cake removal. A second worker helps at bagging on busy shifts.

What seeds can it press?

All common oilseeds: peanut, soybean, sunflower, rapeseed, sesame, cottonseed and more. Throughput varies with the seed — oily soft seeds run at the top of the range.

Why choose this over two smaller presses?

One 140 costs less than two 100s to buy, power, man and maintain per tonne pressed. Two smaller presses only win when you need redundancy or split locations.
